Petroleum Club Wedding: Kristen + Matthew

Kristen and Matthew were married last weekend at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church with the reception at the Petroleum Club in Lafayette. I could talk about how beautiful everything was, how Mo cried when Kristen walked down the aisle, or how ecstatic their families were…but all of that doesn’t begin to describe their wedding day!

The heart of this day was just Kristen and Mo. Their kind hearts, big joyful personalities and the hundreds of people who showed up to celebrate their wedding were what this day was all about! This wedding was the PARTY of the YEAR (maybe the decade?) and that’s exactly what they wanted! Steven leaned over halfway through the reception and said to me, “I really wish we were guests right now, because this reception looks is lit!!”

My favorite part of their wedding was the homily their priest gave. One of my top 5 favorite homilies ever during a wedding! He used this quote which is spot on, “A perfect marriage is two imperfect people who refuse to give up on each other.” I’m glad they had this homily videoed by their amazing videographers because they will definitely want to hear it again. Mo’s sweet sister was a huge part of the wedding day and watching her joy was so much fun. You can definitely spot her sneaking a finger lick of cake during their cutting! So many fun moments.

Congrats, Kristen + Mo! We had a blast with y’all!! I hope you enjoy a ton of my favorites! :)
