Rayne, Louisiana Wedding: Tracy + Ben

One of my favorite venues to photograph is in Rayne, Louisiana and is a remodeled warehouse called the The Crossing. It is BEAUTIFUL and it certainly didn’t disappoint for Tracy & Ben’s wedding! First of all, this building is huge!! Tracy & Ben had their wedding ceremony in one room and had their reception in a completely different part of the building! This really made going from the ceremony to the reception super convenient. I loved this place!! As funny as it is to think about Tracy actually used to babysit me and my siblings when we were little!! She was our neighbor and would come over to babysit occasionally until they moved. I’ve enjoyed keeping up with her through the years (thanks to Facebook, lol) and when she contacted me about her wedding I was sooo excited. She has been living in Colorado for the past few years and that’s where she and Ben now currently live with their 2 children. Their wedding was on a picture-perfect day and was a beautiful celebration joining their two families. We had such a great time hanging out with their families throughout the day and seeing lots of familiar faces! Especially because Tracy and I are actually somewhere around 5th cousins!! Lots of mutual family members and friends made the wedding such a fun time :) I hope you enjoy some of my favorites from their beautiful day!

These sweet grandparents danced ALL night long!!! I loved watching them. It was adorable!

Their grandfather requested a song and the band finally played it right before he left…the smile on his face says it all! He was so grateful. It made his night! <3
