Emily and Evan were married at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist with a reception following at the beautiful Cafe Vermillionville nearby! This day promised to be cold and nasty, but ended up having the best weather we can hope for in February! I was so thankful the rain held off because the portraits of Emily and Evan after their ceremony are easily my favorites from the day!
I am continually grateful for repeat clients that become such great friends. I have had the privilege of photographing Emily’s family many times and I even photographed her senior portraits years ago!! Watching her marry the love of her life was such a joy for me. She looked like a princess and the design of the entire day was fairytale-like.
Some of my favorite images in this collection definitely happened during the getting ready portion of the day…and we completely took apart the Bryson living room to make these happen!! (thankful to everyone who helped move the furniture out!) These are by far some of my favorite getting ready portraits ever.
The tent at Cafe Vermillionville provided a stunning and fun backdrop for their amazing band. Enjoying everyone dance the night away was the perfect end to this special day. Always grateful to work with amazing planners and Sara and her team with Southern Magnolia Events outdid herself on this one!!!
Congratulations, Emily + Evan! Hoping your marriage is full of a lifetime of joy, friendship and love!
