The Grand Opera House Wedding: Rosalind + Ben

Rosalind and Ben were married one week ago today, in an elegant and joyful affair. I’m over the moon happy for these two and the wonderful marriage ahead of them. You’ll see for yourself in about 2 seconds that these two were made for each other. Seeing families come together to create a new and holy marriage is truly a privilege for me. Not sure I could really categorize photographing this wedding as “work”. What a fun and happy day!

My favorite moment of the day was when Rosalind’s family, who wasn’t able to attend the wedding due to Covid, surprised her by waiting outside the church to shower her with rose petals. Everyone was instantly in tears! Seeing family support and love each other even during the crazy conditions of this year is so beautiful.

The funniest moment of the day was when Ben accidentally split his pants helping his bride with her very long train!! This made for quite a few laughs. Luckily, I always keep a “wedding emergency” kit in my bag and I had a needle handy!

Wishing Rosalind and Ben a lifetime of love, joy and friendship! <3

This getting ready location is everything…so thankful to Rosalind’s aunt for hosting us!
THIS VEIL!!!
SO. MUCH. JOY.
Seeing their family who weren’t able to attend. The BEST surprise!
