Outdoor Park Wedding, Eunice LA: Caroline + Matthew

I enjoy photographing weddings in different locations and this outdoor Eunice wedding was such a fun experience! Caroline and Matthew are super casual and wanted their wedding to be different. They decided to plan their wedding at an outdoor campground in Eunice with the reception in a rustic pavilion. They did tons and tons of decorating and transformed the space for their wedding! Caroline and Matthew live out of town so their family and friends led by Caroline’s mom did most of the planning. I love seeing families come together for such a happy occasion and they certainly did for this wedding.

Caroline’s dad was her best friend and sadly he passed away a few years ago. Caroline’s mom contacted me a few months ago to create a portrait with Caroline in her wedding dress and her dad standing behind her. This was a surprise for Caroline at the reception and she was overwhelmed. There wasn’t a dry eye in the whole building. Everyone did a wonderful job incorporating her dad’s memory throughout the whole day. I’m so happy I was able to preserve these special memories.
